Built to give SPF installers a collective voice.
Spray Foam Union exists to solve one specific problem: spray polyurethane foam (SPF) installers and installer businesses have never had a single, member-first place to organize — to share what's happening on real jobsites, weigh in on industry standards, find each other, and access certification-pathway guidance without wading through a dozen different manufacturer training pages.
We're a national membership organization, launching now and built to grow with the people who join it. We are not an insurer, not a certifying body, and not a compliance-program vendor — we're an association built around one relationship: member, not customer.

Why the SPF trade needs its own voice
The spray foam industry has grown fast, and with that growth comes real inconsistency — installation quality varies widely, training is often limited to whatever an individual employer happens to teach, and the reputation of the whole trade suffers when undertrained crews compete on price against businesses that invested in proper training and equipment.
Existing industry bodies do real, valuable technical and standards work. What's been missing is a membership organization built specifically around the installer and the installer business — plain-language guidance, a job board, a member directory, and a place to organize collective input on standards, rather than a purely technical or manufacturer-facing structure.
What we are — and aren't
To be clear about our role: we are a membership association. We do not sell insurance, we do not issue our own installer certifications, and we are not a safety-compliance product you purchase. When you join, you're joining a network of other SPF installers and businesses — the value comes from what members collectively build, not from a product we hand you.
Whether you're a technician a year into the trade or an owner running a multi-crew SPF business, our goal is the same: give you a collective voice, useful resources, and a network you couldn't easily build on your own.
What you can expect from us
Member-first, not institution-first
Every benefit is built around what an individual installer or a small SPF business actually needs — not just what's convenient for manufacturers or regulators to hear from.
Transparent about what we are
We're a membership association — not an insurer, not a certifying body, and not a compliance-program vendor. We're upfront about that on every page.
Open to every size of business
A one-truck operation and a large regional SPF contractor get the same access to advocacy, resources, and the member network.
Built by the trade, for the trade
Standards and advocacy priorities are shaped by what members are actually seeing on jobsites — not decided in isolation.
